- Old tyre taken away
- Cars, vans and 4x4s
Who it is for
Most people who call us fall into one of two groups. Either something has gone wrong, a puncture, a blowout, a slow leak that has finally given up, or a tyre has worn down and needs replacing before it becomes a problem.
Either way, the awkward part is the same: getting the vehicle to a garage, waiting around, and losing half a day. Mobile fitting removes that. We bring the tyre and the equipment to the vehicle instead.
Wheel balancing
A wheel that is not balanced properly will vibrate through the steering at speed and wear unevenly across the tread, which costs you the tyre far sooner than it should. We balance on site using portable equipment as part of the fitting, it is not an add-on.
Puncture repair
Not every puncture needs a new tyre. Whether a repair is safe depends on where the damage is and how large it is. Repairs are only permitted within the central portion of the tread, and within the limits set out in BS AU 159, the British Standard covering tyre repairs. Damage to the sidewall or the shoulder cannot be repaired safely, and anyone who tells you otherwise is taking a risk with your vehicle.
We will inspect the tyre and tell you which applies before doing any work. If it can be repaired, we would rather repair it.
Locking wheel nuts
A missing locking wheel nut key stops the job before it starts, and it is more common than you would think, keys get lost, and the splines round off with age and over-tightening. We can remove locking wheel nuts without the key and fit replacements. Mention it when you call so we arrive with the right kit.
TPMS and pressure warning lights
If your tyre pressure warning light is on, it does not always mean a puncture, sensors have batteries, and those batteries run down after a few years. We check the sensors and the pressures and tell you what is actually wrong rather than guessing.
Vehicles we cover
Cars, vans and 4x4s. If you have something larger or unusual, ring and ask before booking, it is better to check than to have us turn up without the right equipment.
The whole job
What is included
Every tyre we fit includes the whole job, not just the tyre itself, so the price you are quoted is the price of being sorted.

How it works
From your call to back on the road

Call or message us
Tell us where you are and what has happened. If you can read the tyre size from the sidewall, that helps, if not, the registration is usually enough.
We confirm what we are bringing
We check we have the right tyre for your vehicle and give you a straight answer on when we can get to you.
We come to your vehicle
Home, work, a car park or the roadside. You do not need to drive anywhere on a damaged tyre.
Fitted, balanced and checked
The wheel is balanced on site, pressures are set correctly and the wheel nuts are torqued properly before we leave.
Old tyre taken away
We remove and dispose of the old tyre responsibly and leave the area clean.
Every tyre we fit is balanced on site and torqued correctly before we leave.
Find your tyre size
Not sure what tyre you need?
You don't need to know. Give us your registration when you request a quote and we'll identify the right tyre for your vehicle, or read it off the sidewall yourself using the guide here.

It's written on the tyre
- 205
- Width in millimetres

FAQs
Mobile tyre fitting questions
The things people most often ask before booking.
Can my puncture be repaired, or do I need a new tyre?
It depends where the damage is. Repairs are only safe within the central portion of the tread and within the limits set by the British Standard for tyre repairs, BS AU 159. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder cannot be repaired safely. We will inspect it and tell you which applies before doing any work.
What do you need to know when I call?
Where you are, what has happened, and your vehicle registration. The tyre size is printed on the sidewall of the tyre, something like 205/55 R16, and if you can read that to us it makes things quicker. If you cannot get to it safely, do not worry.
Do you cover vans and 4x4s?
Yes. We fit tyres for cars, vans and 4x4s. If you have a larger commercial vehicle, call and ask, it is better to check than to have us arrive without the right equipment.
Can you come to my workplace?
Yes. Home, work, a car park or the roadside all work, as long as we can reach the vehicle safely and there is room to work around it.
I have lost my locking wheel nut key. Can you still help?
Usually, yes. We can remove locking wheel nuts without the key, including ones that have rounded off. Mention it when you call so we bring the right kit.
Do you take the old tyre away?
Yes. The old tyre is removed and disposed of responsibly as part of the job.
Need a tyre fitted?
